In 2004 Linda Gordon wanted to help raise funds for Barnardo's.  Her plan was to start a Lunch Group. Supporters would meet once a month for lunch, bring a raffle prize and buy raffle tickets, and enjoy some entertainment or talk for approx 1 hour after lunch. Linda invited her friends, and her friend's friends to that first lunch, and around 20 people attended. Sadly Linda has passed away, but she has left us with a wonderful legacy. Not only do we raise money for Barnardo's but it is a great social occasion.

Sadly we are now unable to continue with the lunches, but plan to hold another coffee morning in the Autumn and promote sales from the Barnardo's Christmas Catalogue.
